Be proud of who you are

Do you all see this beautiful young woman here?
She is a proud business woman.
She is single as at the time I grabbed this picture from her page.

She sells charcoal and she's not ashame of what she does, because it dignifies her.
Most young women who aren't even half as beautiful as her will rather wait on a man, instead of going into any trade like this.
Dear women,
Times are hard, and times have changed.
This is the time where women are not only helpers, but also suppoters in the home front.
This is the era of feminism, and feminism isn't only about who is right and wrong between a man and a woman in marriage. Feminism is also about women being financially independent.
What is stopping you as a woman from being financial stable?
Are you still waiting for office jobs that are not forthcoming?
Are you waiting for millions of naira before you can start a business?
Are you thinking of what your neighbours, family, friends and foes will say?
Are you still counting on the opinions of other people about a life that is your's?
Are you considering the fact that people will mock you and call you low class and poor?
What exactly is your excuse women?
Why not start something small today?
Why not cut your coat according to your size?
Why not implement all those knowledge you got from studying in higher institutions into growing even a small street business into a mega business with time.
Stop being scared of failing, if ending up as a failure is your excuse. Rather fail trying, than not trying anything at all.
Forget about parading yourself with the latest fashion trends, when you have nothing you call a means of income.
Venture into something today no matter how small, and be proud of your humble beginnings, because it pays.
*Know your core competence.
*Research on what you can do and where best you can do it.
*Research on the area you are, and know what would do you good there.
*Do the business you are passionate about, because your passion for it is an added advantage.
Be proud of anything that helps settle your bills, as long as it dignifies you.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a step, so if you have dream like me to become the next Folorunsho Alakija, then you just have to start your own journey into entering the Forbes billionaire's list by taking a step today and never look back or give up until you are there.
